The Mauritius Ports Authority is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the filling of the under-mentioned positions:

1.	POST	:		RISK TECHNICIAN
	SALARY SCALE	:		Rs 48,200 x 1,525 – 61,925 x 2,200 – 64,125 x 2,525 – 71,700 x 3,725 – 82,875 x 5,050 – 92,975
	QUALIFICATIONS	:	(i)	A Cambridge Higher School Certificate or passes in at least two subjects obtained on one certificate at the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced Level’
			(ii)	A Bachelor Degree in Risk Management or Risk Management and Compliance or Accounting or Financial Management or Business Management or equivalent
		Note: Additional industry certifications in Risk Management (CRM) is advantageous.
	EXPERIENCE	:	Minimum of 7 years’ post qualification experience in the Risk Management field

2.	POST	:		IT AUDITOR
	SALARY SCALE	:		Rs 39,250 x 1,425– 42,100 x 1,525 – 61,925 x 2,200 – 64,125 x 2,525 – 71,700 x 3,725 – 82,875
	QUALIFICATIONS	:	(i)	A Cambridge Higher School Certificate or passes in at least two subjects obtained on one certificate at the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced Level’
			(ii)	BSc in Information Systems Management or in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent.
		Note: Possession of Industry certifications namely the CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) would be an advantage
	EXPERIENCE	:	At least 5 years’ post qualification experience, including 3 years’ experience in Oracle ERP / OCP

3.	POST	:		CHIEF OFFICER, AUDIT
	SALARY SCALE	:		Rs 39,250 x 1,425– 42,100 x 1,525 – 61,925 x 2,200 – 64,125 x 2,525 – 71,700 x 3,725 – 82,875
	QUALIFICATIONS	:	(i)	A Cambridge Higher School Certificate or passes in at least two subjects obtained on one certificate at the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced Level’
			(ii)	Fundamental level (9 Subjects) of the ACCA or equivalent
	EXPERIENCE	:	At least 7 years’ post qualification experience in the Accounting or Finance or Auditing field, of which 3 years’ should be at a supervisory level

4.	POST	:		CHIEF OFFICER, RISK MANAGEMENT

	QUALIFICATIONS	:	(i)	A Cambridge Higher School Certificate or passes in at least two subjects obtained on one certificate at the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced Level’
			(ii)	At least 5 Subjects at fundamental level of the ACCA or Diploma in Finance or Accounting or equivalent
	EXPERIENCE	:	Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in either Finance or Accounting or Auditing

			(ii)	Diploma in Finance or Accounting or Business Accounting or equivalent
	EXPERIENCE	:	Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in either Finance / Accounting / Auditing

7.	POST	:		OFFICER, PROCUREMENT & SUPPLY

	QUALIFICATIONS	:	(i)	A Cambridge Higher School Certificate or passes in at least two subjects obtained on one certificate at the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced Level’
			(ii)	A Diploma in Procurement and Supply or Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
	EXPERIENCE	:	At least 3 years’ experience in the Procurement / Inventory field

8.	POST	:		EXECUTIVE, GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
	SALARY SCALE	:		Rs 24,000 x 875 – 31,000 x 1,000 – 32,000x 1,100 – 36,400 x 1,425– 42,100 x 1,525 – 52,775
	QUALIFICATIONS	:	(i)	A Cambridge School Certificate with credit in at least 5 subjects including English Language, French and Mathematics obtained at not more than two sittings
			(ii)	A Cambridge Higher School Certificate or passes in at least two subjects obtained on one certificate at the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced Level’

Note:

Candidates should submit their application on the prescribed MPA application form which may be obtained at the Reception Counter of the MPA, Ground Floor, H. Ramnarain Building, Mer Rouge, Port Louis. The duly signed forms should be forwarded to the Ag Director General at the above address.

The closing date for the submission of applications in respect of the above-mentioned posts is Thursday 19 October 2023.

Candidates should attach documentary evidence of qualifications and work experience claimed failing which consideration would not be given to the application.

The onus for the submission of equivalence of qualifications from relevant authorities rests on the candidates.

Only the best qualified candidates will be convened for interview. Late applications will not be considered.
