The Mauritius Ports Authority is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the filling of vacancies in the grade
of:

1.

POST

:

CONTROLLER, PORT OPERATIONS

 

 

SALARY SCALE

 

Rs 28,800 x 1,000 – 31,800 x 1,300 – 37,000 x 1,400 – 55,200 x 2,000 – 57,200 x 2,300 – 61,800

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

:

(i)

A Cambridge Higher School Certificate or passes in at least two subjects obtained on one certificate at the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced Level’

 

 

 

 

(ii)

Diploma of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport or Diploma in Logistics and Transport or Management or equivalent

 

 

EXPERIENCE

:

At least 3 years’ post qualification experience in port operations

 

 

AGE LIMIT FOR ENTRY

:

Candidates should be 40 years of age or below at the closing date of submission of applications.

RISK TECHNICIAN

 

 

SALARY SCALE

:

Rs 28,800 x 1,000 - 31,800 x 1,300 - 37,000 x 1,400 - 55,200 x 2,000 - 57,200 x 2,300 - 61,800

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

:

(i)

A Cambridge Higher School Certificate or passes in at least two subjects obtained on one certificate at the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced Level’

 

 

 

 

(ii)

At least 7 subjects of the fundamental level of the ACCA or equivalen

 

 

Note: Industry certifications in Risk Management would be an advantage

 

 

EXPERIENCE

 

:

5 years’ post qualification experience in Auditing and Assurance out of which 2 years should be in Risk Management

 

 

AGE LIMIT FOR ENTRY

:

HR EXECUTIVE

 

SALARY SCALE

:

Rs 28,800 x 1,000 - 31,800 x 1,300 - 37,000 x 1,400 - 55,200 x 2,000 - 57,200 x 2,300 - 61,800

 

QUALIFICATIONS

:

(i)

A Cambridge Higher School Certificate or passes in at least two subjects obtained on one certificate at the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced Level’

 

 

 

(ii)

Diploma in Human Resources Management or Management with specialization in HR or equivalent

 

EXPERIENCE

:

At least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in HR field

 

Note: Experience in Oracle HR would be an advantage

:

  • Candidates should submit their application on the MPA application form which may be obtained at the Enquiry Counter of the MPA, Ground Floor, H. Ramnarain Building, Mer Rouge, Port Louis and same should be duly forwarded to the Director General at the above address.
