The Mauritius Ports Authority is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the filling of vacancies in the grade of:

1.	POST	:	OFFICER, FINANCE
	SALARY SCALE	:	Rs 25,300 x 800 - 26,900 x 900 - 27,800 x 1,000 - 31, 800 x 1,300- 37,000 x 1,400- 52,400
	QUALIFICATIONS	:	(i)	A Cambridge Higher School Certificate or passes in at least two subjects obtained on one certificate at the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced Level’
			(ii)	At least 5 subjects of the fundamental level of the ACCA or equivalent
	EXPERIENCE	:	At least 3 years’ experience in either Finance or Accounting field
	Note: Working experience in Oracle Financial would be an advantage
	AGE LIMIT FOR ENTRY	:	Candidates should be 40 years of age or below at the closing date of submission of applications.

2.	POST	:	SENIOR TECHNICIAN (ELECTRICAL SERVICES)
	SALARY SCALE	:	Rs 25,300 x 800 - 26,900 x 900 - 27,800 x 1,000 - 31, 800 x 1,300- 37,000 x 1,400- 52,400
	QUALIFICATIONS	:	(i)	Proof of Secondary Education of up to at least Form 3
			(ii)	National Certificate Level 4 (Electrical Trade) or equivalent Vocational Training
			(iii)	Holder of a valid driving license
	EXPERIENCE	:	At least 5 continuous years post qualification experience in related field
	Note: Experience in instrumentation & control and HV power systems would be an advantage
	AGE LIMIT FOR ENTRY	:	Candidates should be 40 years of age or below at the closing date of submission of applications.

FOOTNOTE:-

a. Candidates should submit their application on the MPA application form which may be obtained at the Enquiry Counter of the MPA, Ground Floor, H. Ramnarain Building, Mer Rouge, Port Louis.

b. The closing date for the submission of applications in respect of the above mentioned posts is Thursday 29 November 2018.

c. Candidates should attach documentary evidence of work experience claimed failing which consideration would not be given to the application.

d. The onus for the submission of equivalence of qualifications from relevant authorities rests on the candidates.Only the best qualified candidates will be convened for interview. Late applications will not be considered.

e. Candidates who have previously applied for Post No. 2 should submit fresh applications.
