Enlistment of Trainee under the MPA SKills Development Scheme

The Mauritius Ports Authority established under the Ports Act 1998, is a landlord port responsible for the provision and improvement of port infrastructure and related facilities. 

The MPA has introduced a Skills Development Scheme for unemployed degree holders.  This Scheme is aimed at providing young unemployed graduates with an opportunity to enhance their skills/training while at the same time to gain valuable experience in a dynamic sector.

In this respect, it is proposed to enlist a young Rodriguan graduate aged between 20 to 35 years and holding an undergraduate Degree in the field of IT to undergo placement at the MPA, Port Mathurin, Rodrigues.

The duration of the training would be for a fixed term of two years. The selected trainee would be entitled to an all inclusive monthly stipend of Rs 15,000- (inclusive of travelling expenses).
