NOTICE OF VACANCIES

The Mauritius Ports Authority is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the filling of the under-mentioned positions:

1.	POST	:	DIRECTOR, HUMAN RESOURCES
	SALARY SCALE	:	Rs 98,025 x 5,050 – 138,425
	QUALIFICATIONS	:	A Cambridge Higher School Certificate or passes in at least two subjects obtained on one certificate at the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced Level’ Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management or Management with specialisation in HR Master’s in Business Administration with specialisation in Human Resources/ MSc in Human Resources Management
	EXPERIENCE	:	At least 10 years post-qualification experience in HR, of which 5 years should be at Senior Managerial level.
	AGE LIMIT	:	Candidates should be 50 years of age or below by the closing date of submission of applications Note: Consideration for contractual employment may be given to applicants above 50 years of age

2.	POST	:	MANAGER, PORT OPERATIONS & CONCESSIONS
	SALARY SCALE	:	Rs 54,300 x 1,525 – 61,925 x 2,200 – 64,125 x 2,525 – 71,700 x 3,725 – 82,875 x 5,050 – 108,125
	QUALIFICATIONS	:	A Cambridge Higher School Certificate or passes in at least two subjects obtained on one certificate at the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced Level’. Bachelor Degree in Management or Business Economics or Economics or in the fields of Port/ Shipping/ Maritime/ Marine/ Logistics/ Supply Chain or equivalent Member of Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics (UK) or equivalent. Masters in Business Administration or Masters in Port Management & Shipping Administration or Economics or in the fields of Maritime/ Marine/ Logistics/ Supply Chain or equivalent.
	EXPERIENCE	:	At least 7 years’ experience in Transport and Logistics or in International Trade out of which 3 years should be at a senior position.
	AGE LIMIT	:	Candidates should be 45 years of age or below by the closing date of submission of applications

Note:

Candidates should submit their application on the prescribed MPA application form which may be obtained at the Reception Counter of the MPA, Ground Floor, H. Ramnarain Building, Mer Rouge, Port Louis. The duly signed forms should be forwarded to the Director General at the above address.

The closing date for the submission of applications in respect of the above-mentioned posts is Wednesday 25 March 2026.

Candidates should attach documentary evidence of qualifications and work experience claimed failing which consideration would not be given to the application.

The onus for the submission of equivalence of qualifications from relevant authorities rests on the candidates.

Only the best qualified candidates will be convened for interview. Late applications will not be considered.
