NOTICE OF VACANCY

The Mauritius Ports Authority is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the filling of vacancy in the grade of SENIOR MANAGER, MARINE ENGINEERING.

SALARY SCALE	:	Rs 55,200 x 2,000 - 57,200 x 2,300 – 64,100 x 3,400 - 74,300 x 4,600 – 111,100
QUALIFICATIONS	:	(i)	CoC (1) Marine Engineer Officer as per STCW 1978 as amended
		(ii)	Masters in Business Administration or Masters in Project Management or Masters in Shipping & Logistics or equivalent
EXPERIENCE	:	At least 10 years’ as Marine Engineer out of which a minimum of 2 years as 2^nd Marine Engineer or at a managerial position

Note : Consideration may also be given to candidates for employment in the grade of Senior Manager, Marine Engineering on a contract basis

FOOTNOTE:-

a. Candidates should submit their application on the MPA application form which may be obtained at the Enquiry Counter of the MPA, Ground Floor, H. Ramnarain Building, Mer Rouge, Port Louis.

b. The closing date for the submission of applications in respect of the above mentioned post is Tuesday 20 March 2018.

c. Candidates should attach documentary evidence of work experience claimed failing which consideration would not be given to the application.

d. The onus for the submission of equivalence of qualifications from relevant authorities rests on the candidates.

e. Only the best qualified candidates will be convened for interview. Late applications will not be considered.

f. The Mauritius Ports Authority reserves the right not to fill the vacancy following this advertisement.
