The Mauritius Ports Authority is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the filling of the position of SECURITY COORDINATOR (ON CONTRACT BASIS):

SALARY

Negotiable

QUALIFICATIONS

A Cambridge Higher School Certificate or passes in at least two subjects obtained on one certificate at the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced Level’ OR an equivalent qualification acceptable to the Board

Note: A Certificate / Diploma in Security Management or Security Matters would be an advantage

EXPERIENCE

At least 20 years’ experience in Security matters of a large organisation

Note: Consideration may also be given to applicants from the Mauritius Police Force, not below the rank of Inspector of Police

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  1. The applicant’s capacity for physical work shall be tested by medical examination including electrocardiograph while under physical stress

NOTE:-

  1. Candidates should submit their application on the prescribed MPA application form which may be obtained at the Reception Counter of the MPA, Ground Floor, H. Ramnarain Building, Mer Rouge, Port Louis.  The duly filled application forms should be forwarded to the Director General at the above address.
  1. The closing date for the submission of applications in respect of the above mentioned post is Wednesday 11 November 2020.
  1. Candidates should attach documentary evidence of work experience claimed failing which consideration would not be given to the application.
