Notice of Vacancy

The Mauritius Ports Authority is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the filling of the post of CORPORATE AUDITOR (ON CONTRACT).

	SALARY	:	Negotiable
	QUALIFICATIONS	:	(i)	A Cambridge Higher School Certificate or passes in at least two subjects obtained on one certificate at the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced Level’
			(ii)	Member of one of the following Accounting Bodies: ICAEW or CIMA or ACCA
			(iii)	Master’s in Business Administration or Finance or equivalent
			Note: Possession of CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) Qualification and Industry certifications in Risk Management would be an advantage
	EXPERIENCE	:	At least 10 years’ experience post membership qualification as an Auditor/Accountant out of which 5 years’ should be at a senior managerial level with experience in Risk Management.

The closing date for the submission of applications in respect of the above-mentioned post is Friday 27 May 2022.

Candidates should attach documentary evidence of qualifications and work experience claimed failing which consideration would not be given to the application.

The onus for the submission of equivalence of qualifications from relevant authorities rests on the candidates.

Only the best qualified candidates will be convened for interview. Late applications will not be considered.
